The bachelor’s thesis deals with diagnostics of a reinforced concrete road bridge, evidential number 325-021 in Hostinné, Hradec Králové region. The goals are to design and partially execute a diagnostic examination. As a part of the thesis, there is a visual inspection of the bridge and survey of the existing design documentation. The conclusion is dedicated to evaluating the diagnostic results and outlining reconstruction.

Calibration of indirect methods for maesurement of properties of alkali activated concretes

This work solves creation of calibration relations to determine cube compressive strength, dynamic and static elastic modulus of alkali-activated concrete by non-destructive methods. Alkali-activated concrete is spoken of as a new material used in civil engineering. It shows different properties than normal concrete based on Portland cement. That's why the modification of common calibration relation seems necessary. Fresh concrete was made in the concrete plan ŽPSV a.s., Uherský Ostroh in three mixtures and always in the number of 18 cubes and 3 prisms. The samples were tested by impact hammer Schmidt type L, type N, SilverSchmidt PC-N and by ultrasound in 6 time periods of three specimens. After that, the cube compressive strength was determined. Status of static elastic modulus was determined in a time period of 28 days. The results are calibration relations to determine the progress of compressive strength and modulus of elasticity for each method and their combination.

The topic of the first part of this bachelor thesis covers the methods of diagnostics of reinforced concrete constructions and their practical application. In the theoretical part are described the methods currently used with diagnostics of reinforced concrete constructions with focus on methods used in practical part. The practical part covers the survey of reinforced concrete constructions and its evaluation. The main objects of the practical part were the detection of the strength class of concrete and real reinforcement of certain elements.

This bachelors thesis covers preparation and implementation of a construction and technical survey of reinforced concrete structure in Rousínov. The theoretical part is describing examined properties of reinforced concrete and methods of diagnostics used in this field of study. The practical part focuses on the construction and technical survey. The main focus of the survey is the quality of concrete and the assessment of reinforcement in representative parts of the structure. The last part concludes results of the survey.

In the each parts this study deals with the methods used for diagnostics of building structures. In greater detail deals with selected methods, which are used in the practical part of this work. The aim of the practical part was to find out reinforcement in selected ceiling elements of the existing building.

pH measurement

This bachelor thesis deals with principles of pH measurement with focus on measurements in concrete. The very beginning of the work describes basic principles of measurement. On those, basis a research of methods for measurements in concrete was done with priority on non-destructive methods. According to the theory a survey of Czech market was conducted. The last part of the work is description of experiments that are based on theory.
